Yolanda Colon, 69, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Hartford Hospital.

Yolanda was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico, June 14, 1956, a daughter of the late Saro Colon and Lydia Acevedo.

She is survived by her loving children Jose Gonzalez, Yolanda Gonzalez and Amarilys (Luis Acevedo) Gonzalez; her cherished grandchildren Julian Gonzalez, Aliza Gonzalez, Maryn Thurston, Crystal Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez and Vianka Acevedo.

Yolanda's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Monday, November 24, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.  A funeral service celebrating Yolanda's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in the chapel of the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home.  Committal prayers and final resting place will follow in Mt.
