William P. Hanchuruck, 71, died on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at MidState Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Marian (Prebish) Hanchuruck, his loving wife of 40 years.

Mr. Hanchuruck is survived by his son John Hanchuruck of Meriden; a sister Alicia Mueller of So. Meriden; brother in-law and sister-in-law John Poteat and his wife Teala of Hartford and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three brothers: John, Tommy and Robert Hanchuruck.

His son John said of his father "You taught me how to become a man and I will use those tools and take care of everything. Rest in peace. I'll see you when I get there. Love John".

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
