Wanda Mik, 97, beloved wife of the late Walter Mik passed away peacefully on Sunday morning September 17, 2017 at Miller Memorial.

Born on January 28, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Marosz) Kozak. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Wanda attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. She worked for the Connecticut Telephone Company and the Napier Company form where she retired. Wanda was a member of the Meriden Senior Center.

Mrs. Mik is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: Theodore and Edward Kozak and her sister Helen DeMichele.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday September 20th at 9:30 a.m. from the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday morning September 20th from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home.
