Theodore Balawajder, 76, died peacefully on Friday April 7, 2017 at his daughter's home in Wilton, NY.

Born on January 30, 1941 in Chyrow Poland, he was the son of the late Boleslaw and Mary (Kraus) Balawajder. A longtime resident of Meriden, he attended local schools and worked for Consolidated Industries from where he retired. Theodore was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. A loving father, grandfather and brother, he will be greatly missed.

Mr. Balawajder is survived by his sons: Robert Balawajder of Meriden, William Balawajder of OK; two daughters: Susan Hallock and her husband Duane of NY, Sandra Hodges of UT; his brother Benjamin Balawajder of Meriden; a sister Mary Paradise of NH; three grandchildren: Duane Hallock Jr. and his wife Shirley of NY; Allen Hodges of UT; Preston Montgomery of OK and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother August Balawajder and three sisters: Donna Reilly, Stella Olechowski and Christine Yaroshefski.

The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice of Saratoga Springs for the compassionate and loving care given to Theodore.
