Sylvester R. Falkowski, 92, beloved and devoted husband of the late Delores (Fosa) Falkowski, peacefully entered eternal life, in the comfort of his home, Saturday, March 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Sylvester was born in Ambridge, PA., October 24, 1933, a son of the late Kazimier Falkowski and Cecilia (Zielinski) Falkowski and had been a Meriden resident for many years.  He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was employed as an aircraft mechanic for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft until his retirement.  Sylvester was an active parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden.

Sylvester is survived by his sister Victoria Indovinna, his sons: John Falkowski and his wife Joni of Meriden, Michael Falkowski and his wife Zarina of Florida: his daughters Ann Klein of Southington, Theresa Beeman and her husband Robert of South Carolina: his grandchildren: Kristi Lynn Welch, Allen Falkowski, Caitlin Falkowski, Thomas Falkowski, Tyler Falkowski, Taylor Klein, Charles Klein Jr., Connor Klein and Brian Beeman; two great grandchildren Riley Welch and Peyton Welch; many nieces; and nephews.  He was predeceased by his daughter Mary Lyn Falkowski; and his brothers; and sisters: Ernest Falkowski, Theodore Falkowski, Chester Falkowski, Stanley Falkowski, Florence Rompala, Theresa Darno, and Mary Ann Safran

Sylvester's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, Meriden.  Interment with military honors will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Sylvester may be made to: St. Faustina Parish, 82 Akron St., Meriden, CT. 06450.
