Stephanie (Swedock) Mielcarz, 94, of Meriden is dancing with the angels after she passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at MidState Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Stephanie was the kindest and most loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was born January 26, 1919 to Jan and Mary (Kusza) Swedock in Meriden, CT where she remained a lifelong resident. Stephanie attended St. Stanislaus School, Meriden High School and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and a member of its choir. She was a wonderful dancer all of her life and ran her own dance school. Stephanie was an avid sewer and loved all activities with her children and grandchildren, especially swimming. Left with happy and loving memories of Stephanie are her sons: Thomas Mielcarz, Richard Mielcarz and his wife Janet, her daughters: Joan Williams and her husband Gary and Susan Angelica and her husband Sandy; six grandchildren: Melissa Sutton and her husband Stephen, Elena Miller and her husband John, Corinne Williams, Matthew Williams, Daniel Angelica, Cassie Angelica; one great grandchild Liam Sutton; two brothers-in-law: Theodore Mielcarz, Brother Benjamin CSC and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her beloved husband Walter, Stephanie was predeceased by her brothers: Anthony Swedock, Joseph Swedock, Theodore Swedock and three sisters: Ann Swedock, Helen Fellegy and Bernice Surowiecki.
