Stephanie L. Katuzny, 94, wife of the late Theodore Katuzny and dearest mother of John and Marilyn, died Monday August 26, 2012 at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. Born January 16, 1919 in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Szmaszek) Lencoski. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Stephanie was employed by the Permanent Savings and Loan of Meriden. She also worked at the former Yale Motor Inn in Wallingford and as a receptionist for Dr. John Redmond in Wallingford. She was a Parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church, a member of its Ladies Guild and its "Senior Sunshine Club. Stephanie was also a member of the Meriden Council of Catholic Women, the Meriden Women's Club, the Intermediates Civic Club, Meriden Arts and Crafts, Trips and Tours and the Opera Club of Meriden. Stephanie is survived by her son John Katuzny and his wife Constance of Concord, VT; her daughter Marilyn Maynard and her husband Gary of Wallingford and five grandchildren: Sarah and Joshua Katuzny, Michael, Mark and Catherine Maynard and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother John Lencoski and his wife Valerie, her sister Mae Pelatzky and her husband Joseph and her brother Earle and sister-in-law Lottie Schulz.
