Stanley M. Oblon, 85, beloved brother and uncle died on Monday August 15, 2016 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.

Born on May 8, 1931 he was son of the late Michael and Margaret (Bednarz) Oblon. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Stanley was a graduate of Wilcox Technical High School, parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and local restauranteur. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Mr. Oblon is survived by his sister Adele Fuffo and her husband Donald of Meriden; two nephews: Michael Fuffo and John Fuffo and two great nephews: Ryan Fuffo Matthew Fuffo. He was predeceased by his brother Theodore J. Oblon.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian burial on Friday August 26th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
