Solmaria Cordero, 38, died on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at MidState Medical Center. Born on July 22, 1975, she was the daughter of Manuel Cordero, Sr. and the late Tomasa (Oquendo) Cordero. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Solmaria was a graduate of Orville H. Platt High School, class of 1994 and a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. She liked to bake. A loving daughter, sister and aunt, she will be greatly missed. Solmaria is survived by her brother Manuel Cordero, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Meriden; her niece, Melissa Cordero; nephew, Patrick Cordero and a great nephew Carmelo Cordero.
