Sharon E. VanLinter, 63, loving mother and grandmother died on Friday March 27, 2015 at her home after a long illness. Born on September 20, 1951 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Natalie (Briaticio) Coss. A longtime resident of Meriden, she attended local schools and was a member of Liberty Community Church in North Haven. Sharon was a very outgoing, social and caring individual. Sharon cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Sharon is survived by her daughter Christina M. VanLinter of Meriden and two cherished grandchildren: Savannah and Jonathan Anthony.
