Sarah Anne Markowski, 39, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2019 at her home in New Britain.

Born on January 4, 1980 she was the loving daughter of Thomas and Suzanne (Maynard) Markowski. A longtime resident of Meriden, Sarah attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. She worked as a CNA for Gaylord Hospital. Sarah enjoyed working out at the Edge Gym, going out to dinner with her family and friends and listening to all kinds of music. One of her favorite things in the world was Sunflowers. A loving daughter, sister and friend she will be greatly missed.

Besides her parents, Sarah is survived by her sister Leslie Markowski and her husband Sam Bisson of New Hampshire and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January 29th at 9:15 a.m. from the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday evening, January 28th from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home.
