Salvatore (Sonny) Cusimano, 94, husband of the late Hazel Cusimano died on Thursday August 22, 2013 at Coccomo Health Center. Born on May 24, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Marion (Giamporcaro) Cusimano. Sonny was a longtime resident of Meriden and parishioner of St. Joseph Church. He was employed by Sal's Shoe Repair on East Main St. in Meriden. Mr. Cusimano is survived by his four brothers: Vincent of Long Beach, CA, Joseph of Berlin, Ralph of Cromwell and Anthony of Meriden; two sisters: Rose Cusimano of Wallingford, Catherine Shearer of Windmere, FL and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepmother Josephine Cusimano, a brother Michael Cusimano and sister Marion Frank.
