Sabina (Dmochowski) Dowejko, 89, of Meriden, loving wife for 55 years of the late Jan Dowejko died, peacefully, Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her devoted family.

Sabina was born in Poland, October 24, 1936, a daughter of the late Jan Dmochowski and Genowefa (Zebrowska) Dmochowski.

She is survived by her daughter Violetta Tubis and her husband Jerzy of Wallingford, her son Martin Dowejko of Meriden and two cherished grandchildren: Kasia Tubis and Alexander Tubis.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden.  Final resting place will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
