Rose Altieri passed away on Saturday April 19, 2014 at Masonic Healthcare in Wallingford. Born on April 16, 1919 in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia (Cello) Altieri. Rose was employed by New Departure in Meriden and Bristol retiring after many years of service. She is survived by her brother Albert Altieri and his wife Dawn of Granada Hill, CA; two special nieces who were her caregivers: Virginia Monti and Virginia DeBaise, a niece Donna Altieri; 6 nephews: Peter Post, Thomas, Daniel, David, Steven and Kevin Altieri and many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters: Louise Preisner, Eva Post; three brothers: Cosmo, Michael and Thomas and two nephews: Stanley Preisner and Richard Altieri.
