Ronald H. Forster, 86, loving husband for 46 years of the late Josephine Natalie (Vecchitto) Forster, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at MidState Medical Center.

Ronald was born in Meriden, May 10, 1938, a son of the late Harry R. Forster and Julia B. (Gula) Forster and had been a lifelong Meriden resident.  He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps. veteran and was employed by New Departure and later CL&P, from where he retired.  Ronald was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Meriden.

Ronald is survived by his sister Joan B. Gosselin; his sister-in-law Diane Tirado; several nieces; and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers David Forster and Edward Forster; and his nephews Lucien Gosselin and Raymond Gosselin.

Ronald's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Friday, January 17, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. in Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, St. Joseph Church, 22 Goodwill Ave., Meriden.  Interment will be private.
