Obituary

Romeo P. St. Pierre, 99, beloved husband of the late Luella St. Pierre, passed away peacefully on Monday April 11, 2022 at the Jerome Home.

Born on March 17, 1923 in Val Brillant, P.Q. Canada, he was the son of the late Joseph and Aristide (Richard) St. Pierre.  Romeo attended school in Fall River, MA. He proudly served in the Army during WWII. Romeo was a longtime resident of Meriden and parishioner of St. Laurent Church. He was employed as a foreman for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft from where he retired after 26 years of service and then worked at Home Bank & Trust for 9 years. Romeo was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4 th degree and a member of the Meriden Senior Center.

Mr. St. Pierre is survived by numerous nieces and nephews from the Berger and St. Pierre families. He was predeceased by his first wife Lena (Berger) St. Pierre and five brothers: Roland, Leo, Omer, Gerard and Roger St. Pierre.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday April 20 th at 10:30 a.m. from the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home.
