Roman "Jacek" Nawrocki, 74, died unexpectedly on Friday July 27, 2018 at MidState Medical Center. He was the husband of Lucyna (Klosowska) Nawrocka, his loving wife of 49 years.

Born on September 13, 1943 in Warsaw, Poland he was the son of the late Daniel and Janina Nawrocki. Jacek was a longtime resident of Meriden. He was employed as a civil engineer for the Shaw Company from where he retired. A beloved husband, father and grandfather he will be greatly missed.

Besides his wife Lucyna, Mr. Nawrocki is survived by his son Daniel Nawrocki and his wife Agnes of Cheshire and two grandchildren: Alexandra and Adrian Nawrocki.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday August 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and attend his funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.  Burial will be in Poland.
