Roland J. Maskell, 80, loving husband of the late Virginia M. Maskell, peacefully entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Cheshire Regional Rehabilitation Center.

Roland was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine, December 26, 1940, a son of the late Herman F. Maskell and Melvina M. (Mazzerolle) Maskell.  He was employed for over 30 years at Bozzuto's Inc. in Cheshire until his retirement.  In his spare time, Roland enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his stepdaughters Donna Kaiser and her husband William of S. Meriden, Sharon (Mrs. James) Kubeck of Meriden, Cynthia Kapustinski and her husband John of Milldale; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several brothers; sisters; nieces; and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden (Sec. 29), Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 11 a.m.  Please attend in accordance with CDC guidelines, wear face coverings and practice social distancing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-Ruzzo Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, Ct. 06450.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Roland may be sent to the Cheshire Regional Rehab.
