Roger Call, 48, husband of Michelle Otero Call, passed unexpectedly on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the New Britain General Hospital.

Born in Spokane, Washington on May 8, 1971, he was the son of the late Sachiko and Donald Call. He was a resident of Plainville Connecticut with his family since 2014. Roger was currently working at United Healthcare as a Database Engineer but before was employed for several years with AETNA where he met his wife, Michelle Otero in 1998. Their common interest in football brought them together although Roger was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michelle loved the New York Giants. This little rivalry turned into a 20+ years love story.

Rogers love for his family was unmeasurable. They celebrated their 15-year anniversary this past October 15 ^th and had a cherished daughter, Alexa.  Amanda, his daughter from his previous union to Renee Fearney and Mason, Michelle's son completed their beautiful blended family. He was a true Man of God and as a result was a proud founding member of Footsteps Ministries Incorporated. His involvement in this group helped strengthen his faith in God. He came to the Lord and was baptized nearly 15 years ago. Besides going on amazing family adventures or taking his Angel away for some "us" time, one of his favorite things he enjoyed was smoking his famous pull pork for his family and friends while enjoying a good cigar and enjoying a glass of whiskey.

Besides his loving wife and children, he is survived by his Brother David and his husband JT, his father in law Jose Otero Sr,  his mother in law Helen , his brother in law Keith and his wife Terry, his brother in law Jose Jr and his wife Mollie and his brother in law Daniel and all his family and friends  … Roger is now reunited in eternity with his beloved mother Sachiko and his loving father Donald.
