MeridenBonet, Roberto Roberto Bonet, 70, passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at MidState Medical Center. Born on July 11, 1945 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan and Margarita (Mercado) Bonet. Roberto was a resident of Meriden for 29 years. He worked for Carabetta Enterprise until his retirement. Roberto was an avid walker and enjoyed gardening. A loving father and grandfather he will be greatly missed. He is survived by three sons: Juan A. Bonet, Roberto Bonet, Carlos A. Bonet; four daughters; Liz N. Bonet, Luz D. Bonet, Joana Bonet, Margarita Bonet; his former wife Lillian Ramirez and 17 grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday July 31, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and attend his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
