Robert L. Ross, 80, loving husband of the late Corrine M. Ross, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Robert was born in Los Angeles, California, June 18, 1944, a son of the late Robert L. Ross Sr. and Elizabeth (Gresh) Ross and had been a Meriden resident for many years. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served as a corpsman aboard the USS Annapolis. He was employed by Allegheny Steel in Wallingford and as well as Hunter Limousines in Meriden.

He is survived by his daughter Heather (Brendan) Ross Stavris, sister Jeanette Ross; his brother George (Debbie) Ross, as well as seven nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother David (Sandra) Ross.

He was an avid lover of classical music, enjoyed driving his Cadillac as well as flying airplanes. His fun-loving and jovial spirit will be deeply missed.

Robert's family will receive relatives and friends in the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the funeral procession will proceed to Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Holy Angels Church in South Meriden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Military Honors will be accorded after Mass.
