Robert G. Lorette Sr., 64, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Hartford Hospital.

Robert was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, August 10, 1957, a son of Alice (Taylor) Lorette of Meriden and the late John F. Lorette Sr.  Robert was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed as a truck driver.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and transporting race cars.

In addition to his mother Alice, he is survived by his children Heather Snell, Taylor Devery, Robert G. Lorette Jr. and Chelsea Lorette; his two granddaughters Abbey and Parker his sisters; and brother Debbie (Fran) Fiore, John F. (Lorrie) Lorette Jr. and Cindy Ariale; many nieces; nephews; and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service with military honors, Monday, December 20, 2021 at 12 p.m. at the State Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of The Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St.  For online condolences visit: www.meridenmemorialfh.com
