Robert J. Galonski transcended to the heavens on Saturday March 18, 2023 after a brutal battle with Multiple Myeloma and vascular disease.

The following paragraph of Bob's obituary is in his own words:

Born on August 16, 1944 he was the son of the late Veronica M. (Stowick) Galonski and Felix J. Galonski. He leaves behind his loving wife Nancy L. Scappaticci-Galonski; many in-laws and outlaws, cousins and friends, also a few not so friendly. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Bob was a graduate of Meriden public and parochial schools. He was employed by Meriden Rolling Mills Inc. (Insilco) and for Ulbrich Stainless & Special Metals from where he retired. Bob was an avid water skier, fisherman and boater. He especially loved animals and life.

His family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at the Franciscan Home & Hospice Care for their outstanding service and compassion, to Dr. Rajani P. Nadkarni, Kristi L. Dubey, APRN along with all of their staff for the many times they went above and beyond to care for Bob. The family is so grateful for their family, friends and neighbors for all of their support, prayers and food given to them. Thank you, Willie Rodriguez, for the care and companionship you provided to Bob.
