Regina J. (Buijnorouski) Arabasz, 91, of Meriden, loving wife of the late Walter T. Arabasz Sr., passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Regina was born in Bremerton, Washington, August 9, 1933, a daughter of the late Anthony Buijnorouski, World War II Veteran and Helen (Piasta) Buijnorouski.  She was employed as a Certified Nurse's Aide for over 30 years at Westfield Care and Rehabilitation in Meriden until her retirement.

She is survived by her 6 children Bonnie (Dale) Doak, Walter (Shirley Couturier) Arabasz Jr., Louise (Robert) Montemurro, Mary (Howard) Cossette, Denise (Christopher) Minott and John (Lisa) Arabasz; 14 grandchildren Kristie Pelkey, Jason Doak, Jennifer Doak, Ericka McDonald, Devin Arabasz, Alyssa Pascale, Ryan Montemurro, Amy Perry, Howie Cossette, Stephanie Cossette, Yannique Minott, Damian Arabasz, Owen Minott, Mychal Arabasz and Kyle Arabasz; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by an infant son Walter T. Arabasz; her son Gary J. Arabasz, U.S. Navy Veteran; and her brother Henry Buijnorouski.

Regina's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Monday, May 12, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.  A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Middletown.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Regina may be sent to the American Legion Post 45, 835 Hanover Road, Meriden, CT. 06451.
