Obituary

Ralph "Bill" Cox, 93, beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Dennison) Cox, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 25, 2018 at the Meriden, Center.

Born on July 26, 1925 in Lubec, ME, he was the son of the late Ethel (Butler) and Frank Cox, Sr. Bill proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. A longtime resident of Meriden, he was employed as a sift operator for American Cyanamid from where he retired.

Mr. Cox is survived by his three sons: Edward G. Cox and his wife Glenda of Meriden, Robert Cox and his wife Kathy of Southington, Martin Cox and his wife Lisa of Torrington and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by two brothers: Frank Cox, Jr., James Cox and three sisters: Mary Simpson, Ethel Quinn and Margaret Quinn.

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service with Military Honors on Thursday August 30th at 10:00 a.m. in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
