Pearline Febles, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 5, 2015. She was the wife of Angel L. Febles, her beloved husband of 29 years. Born on February 3, 1951 in Meriden, she is the daughter of Pearl (Freeman) Johnson and the late Gilbert Johnson. A longtime resident of Meriden; Pearline was a graduate of Platt High School and a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She received her BS degree from Post University. Pearline was employed as an Office Manager for Tommasetti Distributors from where she retired after many years of service. Pearline was a diehard NY Yankee fan. She enjoyed shopping, music and dancing. Pearline had a fondness for her pets especially "lil ting". Her greatest joy was the love she had for her family. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she especially enjoyed spending time with. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Pearline will be greatly missed. Mrs. Febles is survived by her children: Ruffin T., Huey T., Cleavon T. and Marion G. Bennett; fourteen grandchildren: Michael R., Tenisha M., Jasmine I., Kalia R., Cam'ron T., Huey T. III, Leila O., Kayla N., Asya M., Cleavon T. Jr., Manasia G., Tanasya M., Santana A. and Marion G. II Bennett; two great grandchildren: Melody Sofia, Tiana E. Bennett; three sisters; four brothers; her best friend of 48 years Cheryl Riley and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Arlene Ford; her granddaughter Imani Monique and her nephew Chano Lee Roman. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday March 11th at 9:15 a.m. from the Smith-Ruzzo Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
