Paul C. Ruffoni, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday October 19, 2017 at MidState Medical Center. He was the husband of Karen A. (Morrison) Ruffoni, his beloved wife of 30 years.

Born on September 4, 1950, he was the son of the late Paul and Irene (Gammerino) Ruffoni. Paul grew up in Wallingford and was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School, Class of 1969. He was a member of the CT National Guard and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 until 1971. Paul lived most of his life in Meriden, he was a master at Cabinetry, a job he truly loved. Paul was a member of the Major Raoul Lufbery VFW Post 591, the DAV, the NRA and the Wallingford Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and was an avid outdoorsman. A loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, Paul will be greatly missed.

Mr. Ruffoni is survived by his two sons: Paul G. Ruffoni, Bryan T. Ruffoni and his wife Tiffany all of AZ; a brother Michael J. Ruffoni of Wallingford; two sisters: Bernadine Goulet and her husband Lucien of North Haven, Marie Higgins and her significant other Robert Kohl of Wallingford; four grandchildren: Anthony, Nathan, Isabella, Meadow and three nephews; a great niece and great nephew. He was predeceased by his grandson JJ.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday October 25th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and attend the presenting of Military Honors at 5:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
