Paul J. Jakielo, 70, beloved brother, passed away unexpectedly, Friday October 7, 2022 at his home.

Paul was born in Meriden, February 20, 1952, a son of the late Henry and Helen (Kaszycki) Jakielo. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Paul was a graduate of St. Stanislaus School, Wilcox Technical High School, Class of 1971, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Class of 1975.

Paul was a caring and compassionate person who helped out all of his family, friends, and was a caregiver to the elderly.  He enjoyed building barns and was also involved in building log cabins.  Paul was an electrical genius and very knowledgeable when it came to computers, televisions, and wiring of any kind.

Paul is survived by his two sisters: Mary Jakielo, Barbara Germaine, a brother, Tom Jakielo and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be celebrated in remembrance of Paul and his mother Helen, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 4 p.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St., Meriden.  A private burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Meriden.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.  For online condolences visit: www.meridenmemorialfh.com
