Paul R. Fournier, 73, of South Meriden, loving husband for 48 years of Ann (Morrison) Fournier, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in the comfort of his home.

Paul was born in Methuen, MA., February 7, 1951, a son of the late Gerard J. Fournier Sr. and Mary T. (LeBlanc) Fournier and had been a South Meriden resident for many years.  He was employed by the State of CT., Department of Corrections as a Correctional Industry Supervisor 1 until his retirement.  Paul was a member of the South Meriden Volunteer Fire Department, and the CT Patriot Guard Riders.  He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife Ann, he is survived by his brother Gerard J. Fournier Jr. and his wife Mary; twin sister; and brother Anne F. Kulinski and her husband Mark, and Robert Fournier and his husband Anibal Faria; his brother-in-law; and sisters-in-law Jon Morrison, Kim E. Kremzar and Karen Ruffoni; a special cousin from the Wante Family; several nieces; nephews; grandnieces; and grandnephews.  He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Lynn Price.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service, Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery (Section 15) in Meriden.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Paul can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
