Patricia J. Cusimano, 66, died on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Anthony Cusimano, her beloved husband of 44 years.

Born on July 28, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Shirley (LeHerissier) Boland. A life-long resident of Meriden Patricia attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Rose Church. She worked as a bus driver for the New Britain Transportation Company from where she retired. Patricia was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching Lifetime TV, crossword puzzles, playing scratch off tickets and just sitting back to enjoy a cup of hot tea. A cherished wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Patricia will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Cusimano is survived by her sons: Ralph Avitable of Meriden, Anthony T. Cusimano of Wallingford, Joseph M. Cusimano of Meriden, stepson Joseph Czarnecki of TN; two daughters: Kelly L. Cusimano, Tracy L. Cusimano both of Meriden; a brother Thomas Boland of NC; four sisters: Linda Ryan of Meriden, Debbie Boland of OH, Tammy Methvin and her husband Robert of Meriden, Rose Dziados of Bristol; her grandchildren: Alyssa, Samantha, Joseph, Brianna and Anthony; one great grandson: Jayce and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank the Hartford Healthcare at Home Hospice Team Nurses, especially Allison McNally for the excellent care given to Patricia.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday June 6th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and attend her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St. Meriden.
