Meriden:  Norma Martinez Pabon, 74, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Norma was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, May 6, 1946, a daughter of the late Pedro Martinez and Juanita Pabon and had been a Meriden resident for many years.

She is survived by her four children Radames Pagan, Awilda (Hector) Santana, Benny Ortiz and Norma Ortiz; her beloved grandchildren Jenny Martinez, Melvin Lopez, Jose Lopez, David Ortiz, Lissette Santana, Benny Ortiz, Michael Ortiz, Jesenia Ortiz, Radames Pagan; great grandchildren Kaylani Morales, Zuriel Lopez, Adrian Ortiz, Cheeky Dawkins, Daniella Ortiz.

Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, Friday, January 22, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.  A prayer service will be held during those hours, followed by interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden.
