Obituary

Nikolai Vodopianov, 77, of Cheshire, loving husband of Raisa V. (Pleshkova) Vodopianova, died peacefully, Sunday, February 21, 2021 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Nikolai was born in Essentuki, Russia, January 5, 1944, a son of the late Vera Kishkina and had lived the majority of his life in Russia until immigrating to the United States 5 years ago.

In addition to his wife Raisa, he is survived by a daughter Irina Dobrushkin and her husband Nikolai; his granddaughter  Yuliya Dobrushkin; his grandson Maksim Dobrushkin and his wife Cherokee; and his great grandchildren Allison Dobrushkin and Maksim Dobrushkin II.

His family will receive relatives and friends in the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, Wednesday, February 24, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the Stempien Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m.   The Rev. Joshua Mosher, Pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Meriden will officiate.  Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden.
