Nancy Papciak
Ford
d. Apr 26, 2017
Mrs. Nancy (Macgregor) Papciak Ford, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late James and Mabel MacGregor. Nancy moved to CT as a child and raised her family in Middletown, CT. In 1987, several years after her husband passed away, Nancy moved to Clearwater, FL where she lived happily for almost 30 years. Nancy was a long time parishioner of St Pius X Church in Middletown, CT and St Jerome's Church in Largo, FL. She was most content when with her family, at church, or while enjoying the sunshine. Still a kid at heart, Nancy loved children and animals (especially Mimi) and spent many days at Disneyworld over the years—sometimes with grandkids and sometimes the kid in her wanted to go.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughter Cheryl Papciak-Brooks and her husband Jerry of Stafford, VA; two sons: Thaddeus Papciak of Middlefield, CT and John Papciak of Citrus Springs, FL; her sister, Joan Branch (Russ) of Oakley, CA; a brother Robert Davis (Glenda) of Oxnard, CA; six cherished grandchildren: Jerilyn Monken (Jeffrey) of Slidell, LA, Joseph, Carrie and Cathryn Brooks all of Stafford, VA; James Papciak of Cromwell CT and Ted Papciak of Hudson, FL and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that will miss her bright smile, her kindness, thoughtfulness and zest for life. She was predeceased by her husband, Thaddeus (Ted) F. Papciak in 1983 and her husband, Richard Ford in 2010.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian burial on Friday May 12th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown, CT. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Meriden. A reception will follow the burial. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
