Minnie J. Barbagli, 98, beloved wife of the late Lebro "Lee" Barbagli died Wednesday March 7, 2012 at MidState Medical Center. Born October 4, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Cavino and Rose (Finaldi) DeSarno. A lifelong resident of Meriden Minnie attended local schools and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She and her husband Lee owned and operated Verdolini's Restaurant in Meriden for many years until her retirement. Minnie was the loving mother of Myrna A. Barbagli of Meriden and the late Robert D. Barbagli; grandmother of Kara Galiani and her husband Josh of Pelham Manor, NY and Christopher Barbagli of Astoria, NY; great grandmother of Jake and Kylie Galiani; sister of Aniello DeSarno and his wife Marilyn of Meriden and Dorothy Levine of Meriden and aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers: Louis and Stephen DeSarno and four sisters: Mary Guererra, Antoinette Soroka, Celia Liparoti and Lucy Popalardo.
