Michaline C. (Draus) Sikora, 85, died on Monday evening, August 5, 2013 at MidState Medical Center. She was the wife of Roman E. Sikora, her loving husband of 63 years. Born on September 29, 1927, on the feast of St. Michael, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late James Ignatius and Katharine (Maciej) Draus. Michaline was a longtime resident of Meriden. She was a graduate of St. Stanislaus School, Meriden High School and she received her BA in Economics and Business from St. Joseph College in West Hartford. Michaline was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and was married there by Reverend John Sobolewski. Mrs. Sikora was a teacher at St. Stanislaus School in Meriden and at St. James School in Danielson, CT and was an outstanding homemaker. A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Michaline will be greatly missed. Mrs. Sikora is survived by her four children: Paul Sikora and his wife Lynn of Meriden, Stephen Sikora of Thompson, Anne Czuchta and her husband Roman of Bristol and Joseph Sikora and his wife Susan of Southington; a sister Frances Neun; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Draus and daughter-in-law Kathleen Coman.
