Michael Trigilio, 97, beloved husband of the late Rose (Betta) Trigilio died Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the CT Baptist Home. Born April 9, 1914, he was the son of the late Santo and Jenny Trigilio. A lifelong resident of Meriden Michael attended local schools and graduated from barber school. He worked at his father's grocery store on Springdale Ave. which he later owned and operated as "Mike's Grocery" after his Dad's death. Michael was also employed as a Crib Tender at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft where he retired from after many years of service. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Michael was an avid golfer and duck pin bowler. Mr. Trigilio is survived by his dear friends Rocco and Gloria Prigitano of Wallingford; a niece Rosalie Passamano of CA, two great nephews: Jimmy and Sam Passamano both of CA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Trigilio; his stepbrother Joseph Passamano and a stepsister Josephine Passamano.
