Mary A. Zaborowski, 99, of Meriden, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Apple Rehab Coccomo in Meriden.

Mary was born in Meriden, March 22, 1921, the daughter of the late Stanley and Stefania (Szczupak) Zaborowski.  She was a lifelong Meriden resident and a lifelong parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church.  She was employed by New Departure from where she retired.  Mary enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and trips to the casino.  She loved games of all kinds including cards, and Jenga with her grandnieces and nephews.

She is survived by her loving nephews and nieces Dan (Donna) Zaborowski, Andrea Lowe, David (Lanette) Zaborowski, Barbara Zaborowski, Walter (Elaine) Zaborowski, Joseph Zaborowski; many grandnieces and grandnephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers Alfred Zaborowski and his wife Rita; Walter Zaborowski and his wife Sophie; her nephew Alfred Zaborowski; and her faithful feline companion Elmo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish, St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden.  Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Please attend in accordance with CDC guidelines, wear face coverings and practice social distancing.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to a charity of one's choice.
