Mary H. Sieracki, 91, died on Friday, December 10th at Middlesex Hospital following a short illness. Born on February 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Nellie (Kasek) Skawinski.  Mary was a lifelong resident of Meriden and attended St. Stanislaus Parochial School and Meriden High School. She was employed for many years by the Southern New England Telephone Company and retired in 1995. Following her retirement from the phone company, she worked for the VNA in Meriden, and also as a cafeteria aide at Benjamin Franklin School in Meriden. Mary was a lifelong parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden.

Mary was an energetic and fun-loving lady. She enjoyed sports especially water skiing, softball and bowling. Mary played softball and bowled into her 70's. She enjoyed attending sporting events, her favorite venue being Yankee stadium as she was a loyal Yankee fan.  Mary was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed playing Corn Hole with family and friends. She loved to dance and was especially fond of Elvis Presley and Polka music. She was proud of her Polish heritage and proud to be an American. Mary always enjoyed time spent with family and friends and held a family picnic at her home for many years. Her fun-loving attitude will be missed by all.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Walter Sieracki, her three brothers Thaddeus, John and Joseph Skawinski and three sisters Beatrice Vitelli, Stacia Perlot and Josephine Tencza. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family of Mary Sieracki wishes to thank the compassionate and knowledgeable professionals at the Village at Kensington Place, especially the Harbor, Pilgrim Manor, Hartford Hospital and Middlesex Hospital and Hospice all of whom had a hand in caring for Mary. We are grateful for all of you.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday December 16th at 10:30 a.m. from the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home.
