Crusberg
Jul 13, 1947 — Aug 5, 2025
Meriden
Mary E. Crusberg, 78, of Meriden, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Masonicare in Wallingford.
Mary was born in Meriden, July 13, 1947, a daughter of the late Walter and Anna Dziadosz. She grew up in Meriden, spent many years living in Southington, and then returned to Meriden. She was employed as an elementary school teacher at John Barry Elementary School, St. Mary School, and Thomas Hooker Elementary School in Meriden. Aside from her career as a teacher, Mary enjoyed shopping, vacationing in Aruba and Block Island, and a good cup of coffee. Mary can be described as hard-working, determined, kind-hearted, generous, empathetic, and funny by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Those qualities shone through even when she struggled with health issues.
She is survived by her daughter Amy Crusberg; her granddaughter Elena Crusberg; her brother Thomas (Kathy) Dziadosz; her nieces Amy and Johanna; her nephew Thomas; her cousin Elizabeth Nawrocki; her dear friend Patricia Marcinczyk; her former husband Steven Crusberg, as well as cousins, and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Bryan Crusberg and her longtime "gentleman friend" Alphonse Civali.
