Obituary

Marion B. Stetynski, age 77, of Bristol, found eternal peace on Saturday, July 31, 2021.   She was the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha (Zigmund) Stetynski and sister of the late Stephanie A Stetynski.

Marion lived in Middletown prior to moving to Bristol over 40 years ago.  She was employed by Connecticut General/CIGNA as a Financial Specialist for 40 years. Marion was an avid cat lover. She cherished the many cats she adopted over the years. She enjoyed visiting with God's creatures, whether it was a mocking bird or the many deer and turkeys that roam the family's property in Middletown.  Marion had a talent for creating beautiful painted wooden boxes, silk flower arrangements and she was well known for the many organized goodie tables she made up at CIGNA for there United Way silent auctions. Marion enjoyed country music, trips to Mohegan Sun with her sister and she especially looked forward to birthday dinners with her friends Diane and Deb.

She is survived by her faithful dog Suki; her Godsons: Charlie Zigmund Jr, David Woolley; cousins: Carol Woolley, Jessie Soboluesky; her longtime friend Deb Brodeur and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday August 18 th at 10:00 directly at St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St., Meriden. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
