Marie (Ziemba) Matcho, 87, beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Ziemba and Ernest Matcho died on June 2, 2014 at Westfield Care & Rehabilitation. Born on February 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Zdeb. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Marie attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She was employed by New Departure and the International Silver Company. Marie enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun and especially loved spending time with her family. Marie is survived by her son Alan C. Ziemba of Meriden; her daughter Linda L. Verdolini of East Hartford; 6 grandchildren: Melissa Ziemba, Burt and Aaron Ziemba, Melanie DeManche, Tinesha Ziemba, Eric Trybulski; 5 great grandchildren: Burt Ziemba Jr., Brandon DeManche, Crystal DeManche, Vanessa Ziemba, Kassandra Ziemba; a daughter-in-law Sandra Ziemba of OK; two sons-in-law: David Trybulski, Jimi Verdolini; her best friend Marion Gawlak and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three children: Freddrick Ziemba, Sandra Trybulski, Carl (Scottie) Ziemba and several brothers and sisters.
