Marian Rogus, 96, of Southington, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones.  She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Rogus Sr.

Marian was born in Colchester, May 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Stephen Naumowitz and Rose (Popovich) Naumowitz and had been a Meriden resident for many years prior to moving to Southington.  She had been employed as a Home Economics teacher for the Meriden Board of Education at Jefferson Middle School.

She is survived by her children John Rogus, Janice (Vern) Adamski, Carol (Kenneth) Straney and Joseph (Mei) Rogus; her grandchildren Allison (Matthew) Csuka, Emily (Matthew) Peregrim, Kathleen (James) Cutler, Rebecca Straney, Joseph (Abbie) Rogus Jr. and Jacqueline Rogus; her great grandchildren Bella Csuka, Alex Peregrim, Juliet Peregrim, and Elwyn Cutler. She was predeceased by her husband John Sr., great granddaughter Adalynn Marian Peregrim; as well as several brothers and sisters.
