Maria Opalacz, 87, died on Friday November 3, 2017 at Hartford Hospital.

Born in Poland on May 1, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Bronislawa and Piotr Opalacz. Maria immigrated to Meriden in the 1960's. She worked for the Napier Company from where she retired.

Ms. Opalacz is survived by her sister Janina (Wladyslow) Golba of Poland; a sister-in-law Helena Opalacz of Chicago and several nieces and nephews in Poland and Chicago. Maria was predeceased by her brother Wladyslaw Opalacz.

Her funeral will be held on Monday November 13th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
