Margaret Kogut, 92, of Meriden passed away July 11, 2012 at the Connecticut Baptist Home. She was the wife of the late Jacob A. Kogut. Margaret loved gardening, hosting her family for special dinners, and baking, especially her apple pie. More than anything she will be remembered for her strong love of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Margaret's smile, laugh, and love for life will never be forgotten. She is survived by her daughter Dolores Yara and her husband Peter of Haddam Neck; her son Michael Kogut and his wife Nella of Newington; her grandchildren: Jessica Gordon and her husband Scott of Haddam Neck, Kimberly Cirillo and her husband Kevin of Simsbury, Jordan and Amber Kogut of Newington; and her great grandchildren Madeline and Jacob Gordon. Margaret's family would like to thank the staff at the Connecticut Baptist Home for all of their compassion and care given to her.
