Luz Virginia Concepcion, 86, of Meriden, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Luz was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, June 16, 1939, a daughter of the late Juan Concepcion and Rupelta Crucett and had been a Meriden resident for many years.  Luz had been employed as a health care aide until her retirement.

She is survived by her children Cecil, Debra Ann, Lyndon, Gina, and Lucy; and was predeceased by her son Roy Sr.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Doriente, Lyndon Jr., Nicole, Joel, Franceska, Natasha, George Jr., Kiany, Julius, Cindy, Diamond, Genesis, Heaven, Roy Jr., Tyina, Cecily, Michael, Bobbi Jo, Roman, Julian and Victoria; and 30 great grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held from the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.  Final resting place will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. www.meridenmemorialfh.com
