Louis J. Stanio, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning December 18, 2013 at his home. Born on October 11, 1940 in New Haven, he was the son of the late Frederick W. Stanio, Sr. and Blanche (Zulkowski) Stanio. A longtime resident of Meriden Louis was a CNA; he worked at Silver Springs and later in patient transport. Mr. Stanio is survived by his longtime companion Steven Anders; his brother Frederick W. Stanio, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Meriden; two sisters: Joan Tenedine of North Haven, Judithann Bridgett of Meriden and several nieces and nephews.
