Lorraine Mary (McMahon) Bauman, 94, of Meriden passed away peacefully at the Curtis Home on Monday February 8, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Fred O. Bauman.

Born in Southington, CT on September 29, 1921, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary McMahon. Lorraine was educated in both the Southington and Meriden School Systems. At the young age of 18 she met the love of her life Fred. They were married on December 20, 1941. Upon returning from the Navy, Fred and Lorraine built a long and loving marriage and raised three beautiful children. They were lucky enough to be able to celebrate their 50 th Anniversary with family and friends before Fred's passing.

She is survived by her two daughters: Carol Bonaiuto and her husband Lynwood of Meriden, Jane Fuda of Meriden; a son Ron Bauman and his wife Nancy of Southington; six grandchildren: Kevin Bonaiuto and his wife Kerry, Carolyn Racki and her husband Tray, Carrie Cello and her husband Todd, Katie Bauman, Amy Jahnke and her husband David, Michael Fuda; ten great grandchildren: Sara, Michael, Hannah, Christopher, Connor, Reese, Chloe, William, Aiden, Nathan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Paul McMahon.
