Lilian (Martin) Small, 87, of Meriden, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. She was the loving wife of the late David S. Small.

Lilian was born in Glasgow, Scotland, October 14, 1937, a daughter of the late Thomas Martin and Mary (Crawford) Martin and had been a Meriden resident for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Meriden.

Lilian is survived by her two children, Yvonne Delaney and her husband Brian, and David Small and his wife Laura; her cherished grandchildren Derek Delaney, Rachel Delaney, Jacob Small, Joshua Small, and Willow Small; her sister Irene Mcguire; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Lilian's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Friday, February 21, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A memorial service in celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. Rev. Leon Hebrink, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Meriden will officiate. Inurnment is private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Lilian may be made to the First Baptist Church, 460 Broad St., Meriden, CT. 06450, or the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Avenue, Meriden, CT. 06450.
