Laura M. Copeland, 72, of Wallingford, loving wife of Mark D. Copeland, peacefully entered eternal life, Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Laura was born in Meriden, June 18, 1952, a daughter of the late Warren Wusterbarth and Teresa Lukman.  She was employed as a registered nurse for many years until her retirement from MidState Medical Center in Meriden and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Yalesville.

In addition to her husband Mark, Laura is survived by her daughter Christi Copeland; her son Erik Copeland and his wife Kate; and her cherished grandson Jack Copeland.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Arlene Wusterbarth; several nieces; and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Ryan Copeland; her sister Karen LaCasse; and her brother Kurt Wusterbarth.

Laura's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Monday, September 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., when the funeral procession will proceed to Gethsemane Cemetery, where a graveside prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Laura may be made to the Wallingford Animal Shelter, 5 Pent Road, Wallingford, CT. 06492.  For online condolences visit: www.meridenmemorialfh.com
