Karl Peter Larson, born in New Haven, CT on October 9, 1947, to Hilmer and Dorothy (Williams) Larson, passed away on October 20, 2023, after a long struggle with dementia. A graduate of the University of Connecticut and the Yale Medical School Physician Assistant program, Karl dedicated 35 years to the West Haven Veterans Hospital until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters Rebecca (Shouichi) Kanou of Japan, Catherine Vega and fiance Sean Peltier of Meriden, CT, and Emily Larson of Northford; and cherished grandchildren Noah and Claire Vega, and Rintarou and Suzuna Kanou. Karl was predeceased by his parents, brother Kenneth,
and infant son Michael.
